Sidney B. Sperry Symposium
This weekend Gordon and I went to the Sidney B. sperry Symposium. The theme this year was the D&C: Revelations in Context. Of the15 different presentations we had to choose just 6. They were all so good. It was interesting as they each talked about the new Joseph Smith papers and the impact that has had on the lessons of the D&C. I learned that the tune to the Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief that John Taylor sang for Joseph in the Carthage Jail was not the tune we sing. You can get a copy of the actual tune by going to mormontimes.com/APoorWayfaring Man.pdf. This is in the Church News.

Gremmert Crew in town
I got a GREAT surprise this week. Tiffany and her crew decided to visit while Ryan was in South Dakota hunting with his Grandfather. We have had soooo much fun! We spent Saturday afternoon at Gardner Village for Wee Witch Day. There were a zillion kids but we had so much fun looking at the witches and seeing all the kids in costume. In fact, there were lots of Big witches in their costumes as well. We have visited 3 different parks and played Star Wars and painted nails and put on makeup. Cookies were also included. We love hearing sweet little voices and don't mind the little fingerprints! The visits are all too short.
